and in my kitchen!
Today, I made my very first batch of homemade marshmallows.
It was so easy and soooooo yummy. I got my recipe from Katie at Good Things Catered. Can't wait to drop one of these babies into a mug of hot chocolate.
I mentioned in an earlier entry that I wanted to make some tile coasters for Christmas gifts. Like the marshmallows, they were so easy to make. All it took was some Mod Podge, marble 4X4 tiles, and some cute paper cocktail napkins to end up with these:
My latest knitting project is the Dumpling bag featured in the Fall 2008 issue of Interweave Knit. I haven't felted it yet, but isn't it cute? Had a tough time with those French knots. For whatever reason, I just can't seem to do French knots.
Well, there goes the microwave. My hot chocolate is ready for some homemade marshmallows....
Mmmmm, Mmmmm, Mmmmm...oops, I have melted marshmallow on my lips :)

I've seen those homemade marshmallows. They look soo good.
And your other tiles. You are so creative.
I have heard those homemade marshmallows are out of this world. They certainly look good!
Merry Christmas my friend!
I've been wanting to try homemade marshmallows. Seeing your KitchenAid reminded me that this might be the year to try them. Thanks for the link!
Mine did not set right this year. they are in the fridge. They taste fine though. Maybe I need a fancy thermometer, since I suspect the cooking was where I messed up.
