But,boy, did it take a long time to complete. Last Christmas, I started a dark gray scarf for my son who lives in the colder region of the US. I worked hard to have it completed by Christmas. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that. Also, when I showed it to my son, he wanted it longer. Well, guess what? I finally finished that thing. It wasn't like it was a hard, complicated pattern - just knit 2, purl 2. Whew! For something so easy, it sure took me a long time.
Another project I recently finished didn't take a year to finish. Love these little felted bowls.
Don't these look delicious?
Last weekend, my husband and I took a trip to Florida. I hesitate to say where we went and why we went but....
If you watched any football on TV last weekend, you can probably figure out that we traveled to Florida to be stumped by the Gators in The Swamp. However, the red navel oranges were delicious. :)

sometimes the silliest little knitting project will take me forever to finish!
Love the felted bowl. I must make some of these...
The fruit does look delicious! Yum! Scarves take me forever, too.
I can't find your e-mail address!!!
First of all, I love the shape of your bowl. I am using a bit of this pattern here:

this one:

and the pattern from One Skein.
The first one is a little floppy. I'm sure 2 strands of yarn would make it sturdier.
You knit beautifully. I've always wanted to learn but never taken the time. Or found the person willing to teach me. You wanna?
Love the bowls and the scarf! And glad you had fun on your trip!
