Looks can Be Deceiving

I have read various blogs commenting on how cold it has been over Easter weekend. I am here to tell you that those comments are absolutely true. Who would have thought looking at these pictures taken on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Atlanta Braves game, on a bright sunny day that we were sooooo cold!!!

It was more like football weather than baseball weather. Brrrrr! Oh, in case you are a Braves fan, Smolz and Glavine pitched against each other. And the Braves won! Yippee! For those who aren't fans, Glavine used to pitched for the Braves but now pitches for the Mets. I love going to the Braves game - just me and my hubby - eating Georgia dogs (hot dogs with chili, slaw, and onion relish yum! yum!) between the shivers of 40 degree temperatures. Wasn't able to make it to a single game last summer. Hopefully, if we make it to another game this summer, it will feel more like summer. Hey, Teresa, I thought about you as we drove through your town on Hwy 72 going to Atlanta and back home. Beth, I thought about you, too. I don't have a clue where you live in the metro Atlanta area, but I know it is somewhere around.

Now I ask you - Is this not the cutest little hat? It is called the Upside Down Daisy from Itty Bitty Hats by Susan Anderson.

I finished it while riding to Atlanta Saturday. I am so excited with how it turned out. Think I'll started another one of the hats in the book tonight.

We actually were even closer to you than you think. Molly was playing ball at the World COngress Center so we were in Atlanta just up the road from where you were. And yes it was cold. But we were inside. Cute hat. I have been a crocheting fool. a few more rows and my granny blanket will be done.
