I love Quilt and More magazine. It has some of the cutest quilting projects. Earlier I had used one of its pattern for the Knit Mitt Kit Swap and tonight I finished this cute little bag from the Fall 2006 issue.
The front panel is the quilted part of the bag made of strips of fabric and ribbon. I added various stitches as I sewed the ribbon on the panel and on the strap. The finished bag is small - that is small for me - about 8 by 10 inches. It was easy to do so I think I'll try it again but increase the size.
A special thanks to Mary Ann for the cute handmade Valentine I received today. Nice surprise at the mailbox. So thoughtful ! :)

You are quite welcome! Truly my pleasure:)
What a great bag!!! I love it!!
NICE! Love that you used your different stitches on there. :)
Hi Leslie! :) (Warning: the message below is totally unrelated to your blog entry! I just didn't know how else to send you a message.) :)
Thanks for leaving another comment on my blog. The joys of having a boyfriend who is an English Canadian (my ethnic background is Armenian, though I was born here) is that I'm starting to realize my pronunciation isn't as perfect as I thought it was! :) Good thing I'm a writer and not a public speaker. ;)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Ann-Margret
P.S. When I realized I can't *e-mail* you back, I logged onto your Yarn & Needles blog... AWwwwwwwww... you have my blog listed as a favourite! :) Thanks!! I'm bookmarking yours so I can look at it some more. You have some really nice projects! I see that we also visit a couple of the same sites and both enjoy swapping.
Bye for now!
I love how you used the ribbon! So fun!
