The Best Christmas Present

If I had to pick one word to express Christmas this year, it would be:

Joy
Why? The best Christmas present arrived a few days before Christmas this year even though we had to go to the airport to pick it up....
Stewart Airport
I'd go to the airport every day if I knew my favorite gift (our son) would be there.

Wish

I've enjoyed my time off over Christmas break and I have actually work on some sewing and knitting projects. Surprising, isn't it?
I completed a couple of knitted baby hats,

Sack Baby Hat

Brown Baby Hat

and have started a sweet little  pink baby quilt.

Safety Pin

And, of course, baking has been a part of my break.
Chocolate Toffee Brownie Bites

Cranberry Nut Bread

Chocolate Covered Cherries

German Chocolate Pound Cake

I've also started a new food blog to share new recipes. Come by and visit - Leslie's Cookery

I'm so glad you had a nice Christmas and that your son got to visit!

Your hats look really cute and your food looks very delicious! I enjoyed checking out your food blog, too.
