2010 has been a very cold year. Yes, I know it has only been 17 days into the new year but for most of those 17 days it has been cold. Very cold. I live in the south where cold is not the norm during the winter except for very brief periods of time. The days have been dreary and the temps have been below freezing - brrrr. So it was a sight for sore eyes to see this on the back porch today:

I am tickled pink to have finished this baby quilt. I recently was cleaning out some scraps and realized I just might have enough pink fabric to make a baby quilt for some little baby girl.
Presently, I don't know anyone expecting a little girl. I'll just store it away until I do know someone.
