Recently I was reading an entry from a media specialist's blog (Techno Tuesday) where she was talking about the ringtones that adults can't hear. After reading the entry, I thought I would try out my hearing. At this site, you can test your hearing and download ringtones. The higher the frequency, the harder it is for adults to hear the tone. The site says, "Pretty much everyone should be able to hear the lowest tone (8kHz). Many people should be able to hear up to around 14.1kHz, from around 17kHz upwards we get into the range that only the under 20's can hear!" Well, all I can say is, make me an appointment with the audiologist quickly....I can't hear diddley squat. 8kHz and 10kHz - no problem. 12kHz - I am straining or am I thinking I hear something??? Beyond that level.....a vacuum, no sound at all.
Lately, my craftiness has gotten tired of knitting. So, I have been crocheting. I wonder why I do that. I'll knitted for a period of time, then I have an urge to crochet. I'll get tired of crocheting and the cycle begins again. The most recent crochet project is a nice little crocheted pouch made with cotton yarn.
All I need to do is add a zipper. It will take a 5 inch zipper. Can't find one that size in the local fabric store. Guess I'll have to look online.

Your pouch looks really nice! Could you shorten a 7" zipper or would that look funny? I hope you have a joyous Easter!
